SSD highly recommended, ideally 180000+ IOPS, 3000+ MiB/s
One scan can potentially take upwards of 750 GB of data including all intermediary data, available capacity should be at minimum 750 GBs, but this depends on camera resolution
Faster storage will speed up the process, slower storage will slow it down

First-time installation
For a first-time installation, you will be provided with an updater/installer called M-XR_Marso_Update.exe.
Download the updater and place it in the directory that you would like Marso to be installed.

Run and launch the updater. It will then prompt you to enter your license key, upon successful activation it will then download the latest version of M-XR_Marso.exe in the same directory.
Once downloaded simply run Marso and it will launch, you can add a desktop or taskbar shortcut for convenience.
Activation
Once the program has launched, you will need to connect your identity to your license key.
Go to File-->Settings
Then enter your license key and hit Activate.
The Identity Form will open.
Fill in your identity details and hit Activate.
You should see a message confirming that you license has been activated after a short delay.

If you wish to float your license key it can be deactivated using the Deactivate button.
Note that on launch, Marso will re-activate the configured license for the machine, so ensure to deactivate the license, and close Marso until the license is needed on that machine again. Launching Marso again 
will re-activate the license on the current machine.
Your license cannot be de-activated if any material is processing.
Set-up
Select a directory for the Scratch Directory, this is the location Marso will use to store intermediary files.

It is recommended to use the fastest storage possible for this. Marso will automatically clear all cached data from the scratch disk once a job is completed. |
Select a directory for the Output Directory, this is the location Marso will use to output the PBR material textures. This does not have to be on the same drive as the scratch directory and does not have to be performant.
You can also select whether you want the images produced for Photogrammetry to be EXRs or JPEGs. EXRs are recommended, but will take up more space on disk.
Keep Intermediary Files and Enable Verbose Logging are for troubleshooting only.
It is strongly recommended to leave them disabled, unless you are experiencing a particular issue you would like M-XR to troubleshoot.
Once done close the settings menu by hitting Save
Updating
Marso will automatically check for an update on launch, and before and after processing a job. Click the Okay button to install the new version. Marso will then close, and the new version will be downloaded and installed. When finished it will auto relaunch Marso.
