✏️ Job Creation
In the main window of Marso, the topmost panel is used to create new jobs.
Before continuing, make sure you have selected an Exposure and Light System.
To create a new job you will need to enter:
Job Name: A descriptive name that will be used to identify the scan throughout processing and once the results are ready. e.g Blue_Leather_Handbag

Letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores are allowed. Do not use special characters. Names do not need to be unique. |
Raw Files: Specify the path to the raw images from the scan to be processed.

Select Start to begin preparing the images for processing. This may take up to an hour.
📷 Image Preparation
Image preparation is necessary to create ensure the photogrammetry images are consistent with the processing data.
After clicking starting the preparation step you will see the job appear in the job list below. If you need to stop the running job you can click the Stop
, although any progress will be lost.

If the prepare process fails, first ensure that the selected Exposure Calibration is correct. |
The prepare stage has completed successfully when you see the status READY
:. The Job is now ready for Photogrammetry.
In addition to reading all data into MarasoMarso, this step will also create exr
files that must be used for the photogrammetry step. Click Inspect Photos
to view these images
When using a capture system that has multiple lights, Marso will create only one exr
file for each camera position.
